Avis Van Rental Eastern Cape takes customers off road

Avis Van Rental customers were treated to a 4x4 Driver Training day in East London and in Port Elizabeth recently. The driver training was facilitated by the 4X4 Adventure Academy who is registered with the South African National Offroad Trainers Association (SANOTA).

The purpose of the event was to impart some knowledge of the technical aspects of the 4x4 vehicles in the Avis Van Rental fleet and to give customers practical off road experience.

Both the East London and Port Elizabeth courses included a few formidable up hills and perilous down hills. The water pans proved to be the most challenging and separated the men (and women) from the mice!

Although some egos were permanently scarred, the Avis Van Rental vehicles remained reliable and resilient and after a good wash, looked almost as good as new.
